Android is a Linux based operating system designed specifically for touch screen mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets . The operating system has developed a lot from the black and white phones in the last 15 years, starting with a recent smart phone or mini computer. Android is most widely used mobile Operating System these days. Android software was founded 15 years before in 2003 in California.

Android is an online software store that comes with an Android market. It was developed by Google. It allows Android users to use and download applications developed by third-party developers and use them. Android applications are written in Java programming language. There is an open source application for developing Android developers' applications that can be used to sell in the Android market. Based on Linux version 2.6 for core system services such as the Android security system, memory management, process management, network stack and driver model.
Android is a powerful operating system and it supports a large number of comfortable and advanced applications for users in smart phones.The hardware supporting Android software is based on the ARM architecture platform. Android is an open source operating system which means that it is free of cost  and anyone can use it. Google, has launched two most innovative applications for Android called ADC1 and ADC 2.The ADC1 was launched on January 1, 2008 and the ADC2 was launched on May 2, 2009. These competitions (ADC1 and ADC2) helped to make Android better, advanced, interactive and more user-friendly.

Founder of Android 

Android Inc. was founded by Andy Rubin, Rich Miner, Nick Sears, and Chris White in 2003 in Palo Alto, California. Later Android Inc. was acquired by Google in 2005. After the original release, there are several updates to the original version of Android.
